- The configuration variable MS_MAXDYNAMICELEMS can be set to specify the maximum
number of elements to be displayed in dynamics for the paste command. If the number of elements
to be pasted exceeds this number, the dynamics display a rectangle to indicate the range of the
elements. If the configuration variable does not exist, the value defaults to 150.
- The keyin
SET UNITS [master unit] [Item "unit" is not a subroutine] can be used to control working units. Both
[master unit] and [Item "unit" is not a subroutine] should be the name of a known unit (i.e. Meter, Foot, etc.) Matching on
unit names is case insensitive and both singular (i.e. meter) and plural (i.e. meters) unit names will
match. [master unit] is required, [Item "unit" is not a subroutine] is optional. If no sub unit is specified, then the sub unit will
be set the same as the master unit. Before searching the standard units, the key-in first searches the
custom unit definition file pointed to by the configuration variable MS_CUSTOMUNITDEF. This
allows the user to extend or override the delivered standard units.
- The setting for Level Display is saved so the last used is the default across design sessions.
- File saves optimized by caching frequently used layer/linestyle.
- Drop B-spline curve's Chord Height is set to the Maximum Chord Height.
- The configuration variable MS_DWG_BACKUP defines the location of DWG backup files.
- Query Illumination works in views other than the last one rendered (radiosity and particle tracing).
- The ability to remap a level-name to level-number when converting a V8 file to V7 is supported.

honored. Further, if selecting Remove Smooth Edges, edges of Mesh elements that are adjacent to
nearly co-planar faces are hidden and silhouette edges of the mesh are revealed.
